Privacy Policy

UPSC Gurus respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and similar details when you enquire, book a session, apply for a programme or enrol.
• Programme material: answers, essays and documents you submit for evaluation, and, for Interview Edge applicants, interview-call proof and, after acceptance, your DAF or profile information.
• Usage information: how the website is used, collected through analytics tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to improve the website and our communication.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries, deliver programmes, evaluate submissions and arrange personal sessions.
• To create and manage your account on the student portal.
• To send updates about programmes, results-season windows and important changes. You can opt out at any time.

Interview Edge

Information shared for Interview Edge is used only for evaluating and delivering the programme. Personal documents such as DAFs and interview-call proof are handled privately and are not shared publicly. Candidate material, photographs, testimonials or identifiable interview experiences are used publicly only with appropriate permission.

Evaluated copies

UPSC Gurus may share anonymised evaluated answers or essays as examples of good or evaluated copies for teaching purposes. Your name is not shown without your permission.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example payment processing through Razorpay, hosting and analytics), and only as needed for that purpose, or where required by law.

Data protection and retention

Your information is stored securely and handled with strict confidentiality. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop sending you messages, by writing to upscgurus@gmail.com.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure the effectiveness of our communication. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
