Most aspirants do not make bad decisions. They make decisions without enough clarity.
Spend one hour understanding where you actually stand — before you join coaching, before you change your optional, before you lose another year. One honest conversation is where preparation should begin.

Dr. Bachittar Singh
The officers who served with distinction were not the ones who studied the most. They were the ones who always knew — clearly, at each stage — what they needed to do next. That clarity is what a good mentor gives.

Mrs. Inderjeet Kaur
Direction is not something you find on your own after years of searching. A good mentor helps you find it early, so every month of preparation that follows is spent moving forward, not revisiting the same uncertainty.

Ms. Guranchal Singh
We built the Mentoring Programme for the aspirant who has everything — the books, the time, the determination — but still wakes up not quite sure where to begin. That aspirant deserves someone who will tell them, clearly and honestly, what to do next.
One session. Then a plan. Then someone to walk it with you.
Counselling gives you the diagnosis and the roadmap. Mentoring gives you someone who carries out that roadmap with you, week by week, month by month.
Understand where you stand
Preparation Counselling: a structured 60 to 90 minute session. Honest diagnosis, personalised roadmap, recommended next steps. No assumptions, no generic advice.
Leave with a clear plan
Some aspirants need nothing more: the roadmap is complete and they prepare independently. For those who want ongoing support, the next step is mentoring.
Carry it out with a mentor
Mentoring for 1, 3 or 6 months: a weekly planner, accountability, a monthly one-to-one online strategy session and Mentor Notes, for as long as you need.
You never pay twice for beginning. Your counselling fee adjusts in full against any UPSC Gurus programme, including mentoring, if you enrol within 30 days.
Does any of this sound like what you are thinking right now?
If even one of these is on your mind, this is where to start.
“I have been studying for months, but I do not know if I am actually improving.”
“I keep changing resources and restarting. I have lost count of how many times.”
“My coaching has ended. I have notes I have not opened, and I do not know what to do next.”
“I am not sure the strategy I am following is the right one for me.”
“I think I need a mentor, but I am not even sure that is the right problem.”
“I do not know if I am genuinely behind, or just overthinking everything.”

Counselling gives you the roadmap. Mentoring helps you carry it out.
For aspirants who need more than a roadmap — someone tracking their preparation every week, running a monthly strategy session and helping them stay consistent — the Mentoring Programme is the natural next step.
Most aspirants do not fall short for lack of effort. They lose time deciding.
Every morning spent deciding what to study is a morning not spent studying.
A mentor removes those decisions, giving you a clear weekly plan, a monthly strategy session and an honest account of where your preparation actually stands.
The monthly cycle. The programme runs in a repeating four-week cycle that adapts entirely to your current stage. You can join at any point; the roadmap is built around where you are, not a fixed Month 1 / Month 2 structure.

We know your name, your preparation and your goals. Every month, someone walks this journey with you.

Is the counselling session a sales call?
No. The session is structured entirely around understanding your preparation and giving an honest diagnosis. A programme is recommended only when genuinely appropriate, and if the honest answer is that you do not need one, we will say so.
What is the difference between counselling and mentoring?
Counselling is a single structured session that diagnoses your preparation and gives you a personalised roadmap. Mentoring is a continuing monthly engagement: a dedicated mentor tracks your preparation every week, runs a monthly strategy session and supports you with the full set of deliverables. Counselling helps you understand the journey. Mentoring helps you carry it out.
Is the counselling fee adjustable against a programme?
Yes. If you enrol in any UPSC Gurus programme, including mentoring, within 30 days of your session, the full fee is adjusted against your programme fee.
Which mentoring plan should I choose?
If you are unsure, start with one month and assess. The 3-month plan is the most commonly chosen: it gives enough time for preparation to compound and for your mentor to understand your patterns. The 6-month plan suits a longer preparation window and offers the best monthly rate.
Can I join mentoring at any stage of preparation?
Yes. The programme adapts to where you are; your roadmap is built around your current situation, not a fixed starting point.
Is this useful for working professionals?
Yes, for both counselling and mentoring. Your plan is built around the study hours you actually have, and the weekly structure is especially helpful when time is limited.
Can parents book separately from the aspirant?
Yes. Parent Support Counselling is an independent session for parents and family members who want to understand the journey and support it well.
Do you guarantee selection?
No one can honestly guarantee selection. What we promise is careful, honest and personal guidance at every step.
Not sure where to begin?
A short conversation is often the best first step.
